Pine Hawk
Pine Hawk Vineyards sit on 140 acres, tucked away on the hill tops in the foothills that follow the Estrella River as it winds its way north-west toward San Miguel, California, and then on toward the Salinas Valley. The vineyards lie within the Paso Robles American Viticultural Area and are Demeter Certified Biodynamic and Stellar Certified Organic. Planting began in 1995 for approximately 40 acres of Cabernet Sauvignon and 20 acres of Syrah. The grapes are sold to some of the most discerning winemakers, who recognize the important synergy in whole ecosystem of nature to capture and preserve the character and purity of the fruit providing the wine with an “authentic” sense of place.
