Double Black Vineyard

Dou­ble Black is named after our pas­sion for ski­ing the steep and chal­leng­ing runs. Expan­sive rolling hills with some very steep aspects. Pre­dom­i­nate­ly plant­ed in Caber­net Sauvi­gnon, Chardon­nay and Prim­i­ti­vo (Zin­fan­del). A sea­son­al stream runs through a por­tion of the vine­yard where the sandy soil helps to cre­ate deep root­ed Prim­i­ti­vo that devel­ops dark ripe and lush fruit. The Caber­net is on the steep hills with great solar expo­sure. One of our new­er projects that has ben­e­fit­ted from our expe­ri­ence grow­ing over the years.
