Jack Creek

One of our more chal­leng­ing Tem­ple­ton Gap vine­yards. It sits on a rel­a­tive­ly low water table. We grow a vig­or­ous cov­er crop in the vine rows to mod­er­ate canopy growth. It is also one of the cold­est loca­tions but thank­ful­ly there is a frost pro­tec­tion sys­tem in place to mit­i­gate ear­ly and late frost dur­ing the grow­ing sea­son. This vine­yard pro­duces dark and rich red wines with big tannins.
