Ware­house and Ship­ping Man­ag­er: Cas­toro Cel­lars seeks Ware­house and Ship­ping Man­ag­er. Job site is locat­ed at 6465 Von Dollen Rd., San Miguel, CA 93451. The posi­tion requires a High school diplo­ma or for­eign equiv­a­lent, and two years of expe­ri­ence in the occupation.

Job Duties:

Car­ry out research and data col­lec­tion to under­stand the process of ware­hous­ing. Inter­view employ­ees, man­age­ment teams, and oth­er stake­hold­ers to mon­i­tor effi­cien­cy. Deter­mine Key Per­for­mance Indi­ca­tors (KPIs) and devel­op met­rics to eval­u­ate ware­house and logis­tics orga­ni­za­tion and effi­cien­cies. Present find­ings and rec­om­men­da­tions to clients and sup­pli­ers. Man­age ware­house projects. Cre­ate strate­gies for main­tain­ing inven­to­ry of stock items and stor­age con­di­tions. Imple­ment the 5S method­ol­o­gy (sort, set in order, shine, stan­dard­ize, and sus­tain). Train and appraise staff. Gen­er­ate and main­tain ship­ping and receiv­ing doc­u­ments for client and inter­nal inven­to­ry cus­tody pur­pos­es. Ver­i­fy the ful­fill­ment of pur­chase orders and ensure that planned pro­ce­dures are com­plied with time­ly and safe­ly. Ensure com­pli­ance with health and safe­ty leg­is­la­tion. Stan­dard­ize the con­trol of the cir­cu­la­tion of vehi­cles that trans­port the goods in a way that is prof­itable and that meets safe­ty cri­te­ria. Work with a team to imple­ment and improve new work order sys­tems to min­i­mize errors and re-work. Ensure com­ple­tion of demand main­te­nance of ware­hous­es. Ensure main­te­nance sched­ules are fol­lowed. Pro­vide input on ven­dors for pack­ag­ing mate­ri­als and ware­house man­age­ment sys­tems. Pro­vide input on staffing. Pro­vide input on sys­tems that aid in ensur­ing com­pli­ance with the Tax and Trade Bureau. Cre­ate inven­to­ry sched­ules and con­duct peri­od­ic inven­to­ries of all stock items and in-bond fin­ished goods. Super­vise an aver­age of two to three ware­house assistants.
