Five Parts Dev­il is a trio based in San Luis Obis­po, and plays a vari­ety of Amer­i­cana, roots music, clas­sic Rock­a­bil­ly, clas­sic Nashville & Bak­ers­field coun­try music, as well as ran­dom AM radio hits from the 70’s. We are avail­able for local music venues, winer­ies, pri­vate par­ties, and more.​
Think of us as a musi­cal cock­tail! Throw in one part Rock­a­bil­ly, one part Bak­ers­field coun­try music, two parts guilty plea­sures and 1970’s AM radio hits. The name is a ref­er­ence to our eclec­tic style and implies a hefty dose of fun and mis­chief. We have also per­formed using the names The Rag­weed Rhythm Push­ers, as well as the Ron­nie James Trio.
