CAS Due Mila19

2021 Due Mila Diciotto

Diciotto,” Italian for eighteen, celebrates the 18th vintage of Due Mila, our signature reserve Bordeaux-style blend. This wine is a testament to our philosophy, produced only in exceptional years from hand-selected lots that showcase the best of the vintage. The mild 2021 season provided grapes with perfect ripeness and soft tannins, creating the ideal foundation for a wine built on balance and elegance, while still expressing the welcome influence of Paso Robles.

This classic blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Malbec was aged for 22 months in our finest French and American oak barrels. The result is a complex and inviting wine with aromas of black cherry, pipe tobacco, and cedar. The palate delivers rich dark fruit, notes of blueberry, and candied pecan, all wrapped in luscious tannins. While approachable now, especially after decanting, this is a truly cellar-worthy wine that will continue to evolve beautifully for years to come.
