Rose­wood & Hon­ey San Luis Obis­po duo Jen­ny and Dan­ny Grass­eschi had long been dream­ing of form­ing an acoustic trio with a strong empha­sis on full vocal har­monies, but locat­ing that third voice had been more dif­fi­cult than they’d anticipated

—until they met Jessy George, whose clas­si­cal train­ing com­bined with an unde­ni­able soul­ful musi­cal­i­ty, proved to be the elu­sive ​“secret weapon” they were look­ing for. With Jessy’s arrival in the sum­mer of 2022, Rose­wood & Hon­ey was formed and the trio has­n’t looked back since, most often per­form­ing with dou­ble bassist Dave George and per­cus­sion­ist Mike Smothers.
