With every beat, B & the Hive’s ethe­re­al blend of Alter­na­tive Rock & Indie Pop, puls­es with heart and soul. Both mod­ern and time­less, this Cal­i­for­nia raised band con­jures beloved artists of the past, while con­tin­u­al­ly forg­ing a path unique­ly their own. From gui­tar dri­ven anthems, to moody pop mantras and hook-laden melodies, there is a con­scious under­cur­rent of stir­ring lyrics which deeply move the lis­ten­er and leave them want­i­ng more.

For near­ly a decade, B & the Hive’s found­ing mem­bers and co-song­writ­ers, Bri­an­na Lee & Josh Bar­rett have exist­ed pure­ly to make music from the soul. Draw­ing from ear­ly inspi­ra­tion (The Cure, Radio­head, Fleet­wood Mac), their sound relates to the cur­rent realm of artists (Sharon Van Etten, Big Thief, Warpaint) and remains ever-evolv­ing.
