46 West Wineries- Friday Night Wine & Cheese 

The Highway 46 West Wineries Group is having another great Friday night Wine and Cheese event.   The group of thirteen wineries will taste out award winning wines.  Great cheese and breads will be available for tasting to complement the wine. 

The event will be held at Doce Robles Winery on Friday, July 11th from 6-8pm.  The admission for the event is $15/person and $25/couple.  Tickets sould at the door.

Montana Skies- Festival Mozaic Concert
Outdoor concert

A must see live concert experience: a duo with the full spectrum of an orchestra crossed with the energy of a rock band. Winners of the Lifestyle Radio Music Awards for Best New Artist of 2004 and Best Contemporary Acoustic Album of 2005, Jennifer and Jonathan Adams create a “new acoustic” sound with their pairing of cello, six-string electric cello, Spanish/classical guitar, and steel string guitar.

Jonathan and Jennifer met while studying music at the University of Georgia. Recognizing a kindred spirit in each other's devotion to their music, the desire to share music together was ignited immediately. The two assumed they would be performing classical recitals and great works for the cello and guitar; then, in one trip to the library to select music, their whole world of classical intentions came crashing down. The discovery: music written for cello and guitar was as rare as the combination itself -- no great classical works existed. What resulted from this new musical freedom of expression between the two was the formation of Montana Skies, and a unique style of music that would garner instant recognition and praise.

Lazy Local Concert- Up in the Air

Up in the Air creates a unique musical experience based on the varying backgrounds of 9 musicians. The band blends elements of jazz and improvisation into musical styles as varied as folk, pop, latin, and worldbeat.  Up in the Air features a wide array of instrumentation including electric and acoustic guitars, flute, recorder, saxaphone, trombone, keyboards, percussion (congas / Timbales), bass, trap drums, and vocals.

Baka Beyond
Outdoor concert

Musicians from 6 countries in the Celtic fringes of Europe and the West coast of Africa join together to play the most originallive world fusion sound around. The spirit of the music lives in the rhythm. All Baka Beyond's rhythms are played by human beings not machines!

Sleepy Guitar Johnson debuts with a strong blues sound.  Sleepy's music is clearly blues inspired and is, in fact, drenched in the down home stuff, yet it is completely original, avoiding all of the cliches we have come to associate with the music.

Mike Marshall & Choro Famoso

Mike Marshall is one of the world's most accomplished and versatile acoustic musicians, a master of mandolin, guitar and violin whose playing is as imaginative and adventurous as it is technically thrilling. Able to swing gracefully from jazz to classical to bluegrass to Latin styles, he puts his stamp on everything he plays with an unusually potent blend intellect and emotion a combination of musical skill and instinct rare in the world of American vernacular instrumentalists.

The Choro Famoso band includes Brian Rice (Percussion), Andy Connell (Clarinet & Saxophone), Carlos Oliveira (Guitar) and Michael Spiro (Percussion).
